Our film department is the backbone of our wet lab.
With water quality management and daily process controls,
we generate superior results.

Water Treatment
Our commitment to quality begins with our company's extensive water
treatment system. Oklahoma is a runoff water state, e.g. rainwater drains
from the plains into various creeks and rivers and finally into the reservoirs,
bringing with it all the minerals and particulants that accumulate along the way.
Our treatment system of water filtration and softening removes these problems.

Dip and Dunk Processors
Our commitment includes our selection of a dip-and-dunk film processor as opposed to a roller
transport or "cine type" machine. Cine type machines are designed to process long rolls of film.
Should there be any particulants or residue at a turnaround point during processing, the opportunity
to scratch the film is high. The dip-and-dunk system is designed for short rolls and sheet film.
The individual racks are loaded with rolls and/or sheet film; a transport arm slowly immerses the
film into a tank with air/gas bursts agitating the chemistries. The transport arm lifts and continues
the cycle into the subsequent tanks of chemicals and finally goes into the drying cabinet.
There is little or no opportunity to scratch or damage the film.

Quality Control
Quality control, in the form of proper replenishment plotted against rigid photochemical controls,
has been a standard in this company for 20 plus years. Control strips are run and plotted each day
before any film is run.

Pro Photo is one of the few labs in the state of Oklahoma to
meet the rigid standards of Kodak's Q-LAB system.
