ProPhoto provides the ability for visitors to show and hide your Bio Area on-demand. When you select the “minimized” display type, ProPhoto will hide the Bio Area by default.
When the proper menu link is clicked, your bio area will slide open immediately under your site Header Area, and then slide back closed when clicked again.

When ‘minimized’ is selected, you must add a new Menu Item to a Navigation Menu so visitors have something to click to show/hide the Bio Area. Simply add a new Menu Item and use the “Special link types” option and choose the “Show hidden bio area” option.

When this link is clicked, your bio area will slide open immediately under your header area, and then slide back closed when clicked again. If minimized, you can change the text of your ‘about me’ link in this area as well.
