Your ProPhoto Bio Area is a place where you can tell your visitors a bit about yourself. This area is “widgetized”, which means that it’s content can be created by going to “Appearance” > “Widgets” in WordPress. You can drag widget items into the Bio columns. Click here for more info.
It’s a chance to share a personal side of your brand with your visitors, so be creative.
When included and set to “show normally”, your Bio Area displays immediately below your header area.
When included and set to “do not show normally”, your Bio Area will only be displayed when a link in a Navigation Menu is clicked. Be sure to add a link to your Menu so visitors can see your Bio Area content – “About Me” is a good choice for this link. To make this link, create a new Special Link type, and choose “Show hidden Bio Area”. Learn how to do this by clicking here.
This Bio Area can also be used for other purposes. Consider making clever use of the Background image, Bio Separator image, and widgets to create a functional area on your site which does not necessarily contain info about yourself or your business. Since this Bio Area appears below the rest of your header but above your main content, you can place Grids, links, buttons, or other content here for a unique effect.
