Designer Network

(Details of this program are subject to change, so check back often for updates)

One of the beauties of the ProPhoto theme is it’s flexibility from a design standpoint. Many of our customers aren’t designers though, and don’t possess the design skills and resources to fully utilize all that ProPhoto has to offer. We are often asked by our customers for more starter design options, and for names of designers that they can pay to help them customize their blogs. Because of this, we have created a design store on our site which both meets the needs of our customers, and provides freelance designers a vibrant marketplace to utilize their talents (and get paid to do it, of course).

Since its launch in October of 2010, the success of the ProPhoto design store has exceeded our expectations, and its popularity has continued to grow with both our customers and the designers that have been involved.  Between our customers, the designers involved, and our own vested interest in seeing our product do well, it truly is a win-win-win.

So what is the ProPhoto designer network?  There are well over 20,000 users using ProPhoto to create unique, eye-catching sites for all sorts of businesses. We provide a high-traffic site where you can sell ProPhoto designs that you create and export using options built right into the ProPhoto theme.  You submit to us your exported design, associated PSD files, and instructions for utilizing them.  If your design is approved, it will be added to the store and be available for purchase for as long as you leave it active.  Alternatively, you could sell a “limited edition” design at a higher price point, where we would facilitate selling your design as “1 of 20″, “1 of 5″, or even “1 of 1″. Plus, we would handle all of the transaction non-sense for your sales. Can you say “passive income”?  We’ve seen one moderately-priced (and still available) design sell over 200 copies in a year, as well as a higher-priced design that was limited to 50 copies sell out in a weekend.

So let’s talk details…

What about the $$$?

You determine the price that your design sells for (although we may coach you a bit if we think your pricing is off the wall). We will take 20% or $5 of each transaction (whichever is more) . So, if you sell your design for $15, you will make $10 for each sale. Sell it for $50, you will make $40 for each sale. We will keep detailed records of your sales and make pay outs of your acquired funds once per month.
